So this will be like in Red Dead Redemption where you had to complete challenges to get an upgrade to golden guns. It would have been beneficial to have more powerful weapons compared to the lower scrubs. Golden guns will look neat, but definitely won't be needed.

This is going to take awhile, it's going to be a LONG time before I'll be able to get a gold weapon. In a way I guess it's good, as less people will be showing off with them, and it gives the gamer a reason to keep on playing the game. And I've never gotten any gold weapons, but I'm wondering this: Is it just something that's used to show off with, or does it increase bullet damage?
